Stubborn in Nature

Snowdrops, Tulips and Jonquils
Sensing warmth they long to feel
Pushing forth towards the light
Breaching earth, an upwards fight
Mother Nature's loving devotion
Soon will summon Springs warming motion
Streams frozen fast, icy cold and hard
Reliquinsh slowly, giving up winters guard
Stubborn in nature, like a dogged pup
Tender green leaves are forever popping up
Warm, gentle days are their great reward
Whilst winter surrenders in quiet discord
