Family, home and hearth

The full moon last night was 17,000 miles closer to Earth.
I was lucky enough to capture the event early this morning.
Big, bold, bright and full she was a very beautiful gem in the sky.

Summer Kiss

Shyly blooming; gentle light

Life of mystery and delight

Summer night's dewey kiss

Brings a blush of utter bliss

Rising moon full and bright

As evening passes into night

Twilight

Evening passes silently into dusk as

shades of twilight fade

Lonesome Waters

Even as the sun was shining

there was no warmth.

In those dark 

and lonesome waters.

Thy Heavenly breath 

shook the water and 

awoke from its depth...
